4th Annual Baygrass Bluegrass Festival

January 15, 2016 - January 17, 2016

Everyone is welcome at the 4th Annual, 2016 Baygrass Bluegrass Festival!  Don’t be bashful and bring your instruments one and all, for jam sessions will be popping up throughout the day and into the evening hours.

This day of celebrating music, arts and craft beer is produced  by Islamorada Community Entertainment (ICE) a not-for-profit which raises money for arts and music scholarships for local youth as well as Florida Keys Brewing Company where they “live the island life while drinking the local beer”. There are also several other gracious local sponsors in addition to the Monroe County Tourism Development Council that make this event possible.

This festival of Traditional Bluegrass, Old Time and Americana music will be held on Sunday, January 17th 2016 at Founders Park mile marker 87 Bayside.  There will be two days of satellite events beginning with Friday, January 15th 2016 in the Morada Way Arts and Cultural District and Saurday, January 16 at OO-tray mile marker 80.6. There will be many local vendors throughout the day Sunday with some of South Florida and the Florida Keys’ best hand-made arts and crafts of all varieties. Along with Florida Keys Brewing Company there will be several of Florida’s best craft breweries doing tastings and special releases throughout the weekend.  Local establishments and food trucks will cover all appetites and Florida Keys Brewing Company will play host to a beer garden featuring many local breweries and the product of their craft.

Proceeds from the Baygrass Bluegrass Festival to to help fund Arts and Music Scholarships for Upper Keys Youths. For more information on Islamorada Community Entertainment please visit www.keysice.com
