Nearly everyone has the need to visit an Emergency Center at some point in their life. There’s never a good time to need emergency care, but if you do, it’s reassuring to know the Emergency Center at Mariners Hospital is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In order for Mariners Hospital to increase its capacity to care for the Upper Keys community, the beneficiary of this year’s Bougainvillea Ball is the expansion of its Emergency Center. Expanding the hospital’s Emergency Center will help maximize efficiency, meet growing patient demand and reduce patient wait times. One of the main goals of this project is to create a designated area to treat patients with minor illnesses and injuries, therefore allowing them to return home sooner.
