“We want to encourage the Keys community to attend the Heroes Welcome Reception on September 10th since it’s open to the public and provides a great opportunity to thank our veterans for their service,” says Captain Mark Gibson, Director of Florida Keys Operations for Fish With A Hero. “We are grateful to all of our sponsors and to the community for helping to provide these types of therapeutic fishing experiences in order to reduce the impact of post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and other wounds of war,” adds Gibson.

Major sponsors of this event include Bass Pro Shops, World Wide Sportsman, Islamorada Fish Company, Bayside Marina, FreeWheeler Realty, and the Islamorada Moose Lodge.
