Iconic Islamorada Resort Celebrates Full Irma Recovery By Supporting Dorian Relief Efforts With Grand Reopening Benefit Concert
Islamorada, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2019) – The iconic 14-acre Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina, located oceanfront in Islamorada, Fla., celebrated its grand reopening with a benefit concert on Nov. 2, 2019, raising $40 thousand for hurricane recovery efforts in Hope Town, Bahamas. The Help for Hope Town event and grand reopening of the resort’s new Raw Bar marked the final aspect of the resort’s restoration efforts since Hurricane Irma in 2017. Musicians from across the nation rallied behind the cause, with an opportunity for guests to celebrate a new chapter in the resort’s story while supporting a community whose road to recovery is still in sight.

The Help for Hope Town Benefit on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 raised $40 thousand and saw over 1,200 guests in attendance. David Lee Murphy headlined the event, with performances by The Wheeland Bros. Band and special guest Kaitlyn Weathers, the Davisson Bros. Band, Heidi Newfield and Kylie Frey, along with local musicians who contributed to the day-long festivities. Centered around the resort’s new Raw Bar, onlookers were able to enjoy the fresh seafood available on the new Raw Bar menu, while taking in perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean and Islamorada’s famous Sandbar.
Delivering the original Raw Bar experience with a new two-story design, Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina’s Raw Bar sits 25 feet above the Atlantic Ocean as one of the only double-deck raw bars in The Florida Keys. Recognizing the iconic history of the formerly named Holiday Isle, Postcard Inn’s Raw Bar is a nautical spot serving fresh seafood. The open-air space is casual and relaxed, and offers an adults-only destination on the upper deck.
